Mysterious world

Sheltering in fear
lost and alone
fire above
but nothing bellow

Witches on brooms
cauldron's a glow
candles in Bloom
frightening faces slowly grow.

    In the last line is the number of frightening faces growing or is the size of the faces increasing? (not that it matters)
    Although I dislike short works (most of the time) the poem was very nice, I greatly enjoyed reading it.
