Writing To Be free

Hate in your heart will consume you too
God loves you and will
I dropped to my knees
And begged the lord please
I cry ain't no shame in it
To live is to suffer
And to survive is to
Find meaning in something
What if I slip and fall
And never get up hopefully
I live long enough to
See me have kids
They say you need
A heart that doesn't bleed
I was forced to be in this situation
Is it something I did to
Make my father hit me and abuse me
I might head somewhere
But I'm going nowhere fast
Things seem worse as I get older
Somethings got to give
nothing from love
You all know who you
Are this is your poem
I'm just telling the truth about it
I'm no one except who I am
Just because of who you
Are doesn't make you better
I have paid my dues in blood
Feeling undone what have I become
Feelings burning on the inside
We grow up to give up
Emptiness loneliness
Were all I felt before
Will I forget to remember these
Haunting memories
