And die (a little inside)

by broken wings   Apr 22, 2007

Why do you keep
judging me to my face
and you keep
leaving me in this place

to bleed by these walls
to bleed until i fall
to bleed and die (a little inside)
to bleed until i can't call

life is like a flutter of wings
but you came and crushed the robin's butterfly
and you took my say
and threw it away and (so i can't ask you why)

you sicken me
you've broken me
you made me lose my purpose
you terrified me
but now it's plain to see

that your life all together was drowning
(underneath the surface)
