The Word Whatever

The word whatever can be powerful
To some at least
Being specific: saying it an angry and non-caring tone
The only way they ever mean it

When someone says it to them,
The take it like they say it
They think you mean it the way they always do
But you don't

You say it different ways
Different emotions mixed in with it
Then you try to explain it
Then they say whatever and don't want to talk about it
So you just stop saying it all together
