The world's going black

Standing in the rain
silently screaming
silently suffering
i stare off in the distance

seeing, but not seeing
losing grip on reality
entering my longed for fantasy
the world's going black

my mind's going numb
shadows are taking over my sight
my soul is leaving my body this night
inside i slowly die
