Secrets

We have a lot in common,
My best friend and I,
It's starting to get freaky,
We even like the same guy!

She doesn't know I like him,
Or that he likes me back,
I think that if I told her
Our friendship will turn black.

I'd hate to lose her,
But I don't want to let him go,
He's what I want right now,
This feeling can only grow.

I'm not one for secrets,
And lying is for chumps,
Can our friendship hold through this,
With all the twists and bumps?
