The Darkness

by Angelena Branch   Apr 27, 2007

In the darkness of this girls heart
Lies the depth of her mind
The pain and darkness that once was pure.
She has been looking for the light
But she has never come close
And when the one time she did...
It destroyed her.
She has never once
Known what it was like to bask
In the light of the day
But only in the darkness of the moon.
She has never known much of anything
But what it feels like to hate.
She never knew love
She never knew happiness
And probably never shall.
But who can blame that poor girl?
She never had the chance to save herself.
She never had a chance to say anything.
Serenity is just a dream to her
And so is pure happiness.
She is just a child
But yet she is so mature.
A child of the dark and a child of the night.
May never be able to liveâ?¦
Here in this weird old sunny kind of place.
Her mind and soul belong to the darknessâ?¦
But she wants it to belong to the sunâ?¦
When will she figure outâ?¦
That no matter what she does she
Will always be consumed by darkness?

Itâ??s not done but I have really bad writers block so here is the poem so farâ?¦

This girl might be lonely and never had anyone who loved her or who she loved, but she always had a chance to save herself from the darkness. She just never found out where to start...
