This Girl

It got so hard
For she wasn't strong
She couldn't walk alone
To find where she belonged

She was too weak
And so afraid
So she got on her knees
And to God she prayed

"Lord I need you
To stop my tears
Someone to save me
You're the only one who hears

You listen to me
And my constant cries
For me you care
But don't smother me with lies

I don't feel good enough
I fall behind the rest
I try so hard
But I'm never the best

Please help me Lord
Just get me through
Please show me a sign
Lord give me a clue"

And that's what she said
As tears stained her face
And then she disappeared
Without a trace

No where to be found
Coudn't anyone see?
This girl needed help
This girl was me
