The Day You Die

by sarah   Apr 28, 2007

I walked into the room,
You lay there weak and pale,
You say to me I again fail.
Will you ever forgive me?'
Tears run down my cheeks,
You take out a key,
You unlock a draw and show me inside,
You smiled, then you sighed,
At what was inside I cried.
The draw was full of memories,
Photos, drawings, smells and happiness,
You say good bye,
I'm sorry I have to die.
This disease has eaten away at me,
I'm sorry your hear to have to see me,
What has become of me.
Ill miss you but you must move on.
Don't go! I cry.
Don't die!
But your already gone,
I miss you already.
Ill go on, ill go steady.
I sit and hug my teddy.
Good bye I whisper,
On that day you die.

Oh my God! That is so sad and it really touched my heart cause I know how you feel. It is so terrible to lose someone you love. I am really sorry. Great poem though.
