Dying So Fast

by sarah   Apr 28, 2007

Her life it slowly slips away,
Into haze of white and grey,
She feels pain in her body,
And tastes blood and tears,
And in one go she realises; this is one of her biggest fears.
Sirens blast,
Everything around hers happening so fast.
She slowly lifts her head,
It feels as heavy as lead,
She looks beside her and sees her best friend,
Covered in blood and not moving an inch,
In her own head she screams & cries,
But on the outside shes too pained and weak,
What have I done she thinks to herself,
The picture forms in her head...
The swirling colours,
The vodka bottle,
The loud laughs,
And suddenly the blaring lights,
And all the screaming,
Screeching of tires,
And smack went her head right onto the dash,
She hears crying and looks around,
She sees her mother and she drops to the ground,
They stare into each others eyes,
Then she finds her voice and tells her she loves her mother,
That's all she can manage to say,
Shes feeling so weak,
She just lay there and cries,
Then, she slowly dies.
