You'll Never Have A Clue

by I WhoWhatNow   Apr 29, 2007

I see you everyday, my love

And you don't have a clue

Of the turmoil and the war in me

Of my feelings here for you

Your voice makes me shiver, love

Your eyes give me chills

A school-girl crush, I would say

Of giggly fits and thrills

I run away, I try to hide

Yet I can't stay far for long

How can a feeling such as this

Feel so unsure and wrong?

I can't help but look at you

With eyes of love and fear

Love for you, fear of rejection

Why must love be so unclear?

I can not hold my feelings in

So then I must run away

So I don't blurt out, what I will regret

When I say what I want to say.

I'll keep it quiet, my own secret love

You'll never have to know

I'll keep my daydreams, hopes, and thoughts

In a place where they will grow

There they will grow, and live and die

So that I'll let go of you

And the turmoil, the war, the love

And you'll never have a clue.

It was nice. Simple yet full of true feelings. I know exaclty how that feels, and you seemed to capture that simple emotion. Nicely done.
