Forbidden

by Liv Bell Couver   May 1, 2007

No one wants us to be,
No matter race or sex there's always controversy.
The world is cruel, baby don't be fooled
This love is forbidden, they told me it's all fake
What the hell do they know?
They don't feel what I feel
They don't see what I see
They don't think what I think.
They tried to tell me it's just a phase
Lust, maybe a crush.
Wrong again, as usual, they always seem to be,
Lust is only a sexual desire
A crush dies with time, and a phase is grown out of
But love lives forever
Before you came, I had not yet lived
Each day was morbid, taken by thoughts of death.
You gave me hope and happiness each day I woke
But when night comes, misery strikes
For I can no longer see you, or hear your sweet voice
School had been the one place no one could keep me from you, I miss it more and more.
I think about all of our talks, laughs, and even times we shared pain and tears,
I found the one thing that truly hurts,
is whether or not you really believe me when I say, I love you.
Even if you were to cheat,
I could never erase you from my heart.
We made a promise, you and I,
together we stay, Forever and Always.
I'll go through hell to be with you
Please be patient with me, babe.
I'll never turn my back on you.
I don't give a damn if our love is forbidden...
Cos baby, I'll never stop loving you.
