I'm that girl that no one sees
no one cares, I'm on my knees
I only speak when spoken to
and even then, my words are few
I cry at night when no one's there
I write the poems I never share
the latticework of angry scars
my pale inner arm it mars

like blood that spills upon my bed
scarlet hues, crimson stain
evidence of forever pain
