Love or Lust

Love cannot be described
Yet love can somehow be imbibed
It takes us in and spits us out
And some people do not know what we cry about
Star-crossed lovers live then die
But no one really understands why
They live their lives with lust filled minds
This is not love but a feeling that blinds
Their hearts they feel have touched this love
But is this really something they should be proud of
Why do not they see love is not in looks?
Anyone that would tell you this are just crooks
I myself cannot truly say what love is or how it feels
But I will not bend to their crazy and pointless ideals
Love is not perfect it is simply a feeling we do not understand
But what I do know is love can not be bought and love can not be planned
This is love to me just an indescribable feeling
But one day there will be someone whose heart is worth stealing
I will not know it right away because love is unclear
but I will realize it is love when I shed my last tear
