All I have to do is stand

Fallen and been stepped upon
I ache in shear pain
Bloody tears drip
The way I often trip
I beg for forgiveness
All I ask is to forget
I have made mistakes
I only wish for them to vanish
To leave no foot print in my mind
To be as though it was never as it is
I have fallen and been stepped upon
All I have to do is to stand
