She'll Make, She Swears.

by Melly   May 2, 2007

She's not always strong
And she really misses you
She may always fall
But she's got nothing left to lose.

She is not scared
Swears she not afraid
She's been alone forever
It won't kill her today.

But she wishes someone loved her
Or that someone cared
That they'd break down the walls
And always be there.

But it's her imagination
She knows she's on her own
No one notices her
And she's a long way from home.

Even through all the hurt
And through all her pain
She made it last night
And she'll make it today.

But it would be nice
For her to be saved
She wants someone to pick her up
And take her away.

For once to be happy
Really it's all she wants
She doesn't care for all the money
or what everyone else has got.

She is different
And worth your while
Even with tears in her eyes
She can still make you smile.

So go and rescue her
Whisper in her ear
Tell her you love her
And you'll always be here.

I can relate to this poem. It made me sad while I was reading it because I know what it feels like to be the person in the poem. I liked it a lot and thought it was written very well. You did a great job with it.
