Promises, promises

by DeepThought   May 2, 2007

You promised you would never leave me,
now i turn around and you're
walking out the door,
you promised to never
to deceive me,
and now you lie to me even more,
you promised to love and cherish me,
and now you treat me as if I'm
something to disgard and you act
as if you wouldn't care if i came
to perish.
you know the saying that
promises were meant to be
broken you said thats a lie
because yours are forever,
you just proved that saying
so true,
but let me tell you one last
thing baby then I'm gone.
i promise you..........................................................
