Me An My Brotha

by Andy loves Jesus   May 3, 2007

These past tense years.
Has taken us down.
Containing some beer.
We had to rebound.

Been through so much.
No way we'd give in.
Always be in touch.
If you need a spin.

This breakthrough was hard.
For both of our heads.
We raced through backyards.
But were bruttaly outsped.

Imprisoned for a few days.
Gotta take it like a man.
At least thats what they say.
But you'd never understand.

After a quick release
It's time to unite.
Give her another feast.
Something to write.

Pimpin the music.
Downtown through the streets.
Our ride was soo slick.
With every single beat.

Tonight is the one night.
We'll fight for our lives.
Never stop to a fight.
We could easily revive.

We breakin in now.
Who knows what goes down.
Except for a broken vow.
Living amongst this town.

No more reasons.
Just something to prove.
Me an brotha are one.
We together can't loose.

No more convincing.
Just one more quick stop.
You better be listening.
This to all you damn cops.

I really like this poem! Although, I think the title could be changed. It just doesn't seem to fit. The flow of this poem was excellent. I must say; The rhyming wasn't to bad. There was one stanza that stood out because it didn't follow with the rest of the rhyming.

    "We breakin in now.
    Who knows what goes down.
    Except for a broken vow.
    Living amongst this town."

Other than that. It was nicely penned. Great job, like always.
