Have you ever felt so alone,
like no one is with you?
That whenever you need help,
you don't know what to do?

Or when you need a shoulder to cry on,
you look around and no one is there.
You hear people, but you can't see them,
all you feel is air.

I thought that was the worst feeling,
but I didn't even know.
How hard it was,
To have someone you love suddenly go.

Your heart aches for that one person, maybe you just wanna see their smile.
You would do anything to get a glance, you would walk a thousand miles.

You would die to see him,
to see his kind face.
Think what it would be like,
to feel his warm embrace.

There isn't anything else like it,
you feel so safe and secure.
Like nothing else can harm you, except he's not here anymore.
