Here in the garden
I can just be
I don't have to put
Pen to paper
Trying to capture the myriad hues
Of Tulips in bloom
The warmth of the Sun
Bathing my face in light
The dance of the Bumblebees
Bounding from blossom to blossom
The quacking Mallards
Bobbing in the pond
The Cardinal and the Blue Jay
Vying for the title of "Most Splendid"
The heaven sent scent
Of Lilacs
All this makes for
The weightlessness of my heart
On this beauteous day

No, I don't have to write a single...
