The Truths

The Truths

Upon the floor I lay,
Contemplating what to do,
Then an icy image crawls,
And fear clutches me to you,

The night I wouldn't forget,
And the days I cried between,
Then man who robbed me,
Of a beauty yet obscene,

Away from the love,
Of a home I wished to stay,
Silenced for many weeks,
As my spirits start to fray,

When I strayed back from this,
I was wilted way too long,
A flower inside me,
Had fallen from the strong,

I finally spoke the truth,
And some pushed me away,
Broken up and tainted,
Still upon the floor I lay,
