Hello is the hardest word to say

When I said hello, it seemed like the easiest word to say.
I never realized hello meant friendship, I never realized hello would bring us pain.

It was that first word, I now realize, that was the hardest one to say, because when I said it, I didn't know that someday it meant we would have to say goodbye and go our separate ways.
