Lonely Empty life

by Lonesomeme   May 7, 2007

In the dark
Light shimmers
From a million miles away
It fades into oblivion

Cold and lonesome,
Standing, waiting
For another light
To grace my lonely soul

Holding what is left
Of my ego in my right hand
My heart in the left
Both shriveled and worhtless

Weathered and broken
I stand alone
Through time and space
I stand in the dark
