A Tear For Dreams(Concrete Poem)

by ScarletDeLoup   May 8, 2007

A
Crystal
Tear rolls
Down my cheek
For all the pain inside
I keep. Another drop soon
Follows it, while in the dark
I cry and sit. The ones that I hold
Dear to me, know not what's under lock
And key. I wear a mask of happiness that
Blocks their sight of my emptiness. But deep
Within a girl must wait, 'till her Dark Prince
Breaks down the gate. For his small action
He'll gain her devotion. And now that
They have one another, they'll
Live with freedom for
Now, Forever.
