When It Rains You Cry

by lexie   May 10, 2007

Those brown eyes,
So beautiful and serene,
They calmed when no one else could,
Now they're closed for eternity.

I know you're watching down,
Telling us to be strong,
That life gets better,
No matter how rough it seems.

You're smiling at me now,
I found a sweet man this time,
You'd be so proud,
That I made the right choice.

Wish I could hug you again,
Talk to you and calm my mind,
Run a mess in the town,
And stress mom out.

You could always make me laugh,
Even when those tears were so heavy,
You took punches for me,
I can never thank you enough.

All the memories,
Man I miss you,
I know you're looking down,
Sometimes not so happy.

When it rains you cry,
I feel your ashamed tears,
As they bounce off my back,
I'm sorry for the things I've done.

Wish you were here to set me straight,
Tell me right from wrong,
Miss you so much,
We'll meet up someday.
