First Kiss

by Carrie   May 10, 2007

When we first met
You were such a dork
You even had braces
Which made me love you even more

For the first few months
We weren't even able to see each other
But that didn't matter to us
Because we were so in "love" with one another.

I was your first real girlfriend
Your first kiss ever
That kiss I still remember
And I won't forget, never.

We "skipped class", so to speak
Thinking no one would ever find out
We went to the gym and sat on that desk
And all the lights were out

We were sitting next to each other
No one else really around
Looking at each other we leaned in
Started kissing, not making a sound.

Or so that's what we thought
Until told otherwise by someone in the room
She said we were making a lot of noise
And so she knew what to assume

Later that night, when you got home
You quickly got online
You didn't stay on all that long
Just enough to tell me it felt like you were on cloud nine

We kept our relationship a secret
Hoping no one would find out
We wanted to keep it between us
Making it easier, no doubt.
