Special Girl

by raya   May 11, 2007

I miss the sparkle in her eye
I wish once more I could see her smile
Tell me what's wrong, I don’t mean to pry
Tell me what's wrong, please don't cry

I've been on this journey too
And I know it can be vile
I wanna be there with you
And together we'll make it through

In her voice I once heard hope
It's taking over her, I can only wait
It's becoming darker and she can't cope
She's all tied up, like done with rope.

There's still some hope within me
The disease is the hook, she is the bait
I'll take your hand, together we'll flee
Special Girl is what you'll always be to me
