Dear Sorrow

by raya   May 11, 2007

I thought Id take the time of day,
To tell a short story,
A story of a little girl,
Who meant so much to me

Her eyes were blue, hair was blonde
Id kill to see her smile,
I wish to see her once again,
If only for a while

The last I saw she was in her room,
Sitting on the floor,
A frightened look upon her face,
As I screamed a little more

A tear I saw rolling down her cheek,
Her head, it hit the ground,
A peaceful look in her eyes,
For a moment there was no sound

Sorry was a word I could not say,
I meant it all the same,
I hope its feasible to forgive,
And end this present shame.
