Meaningless Love

by Krzysztof J   May 11, 2007

The words they did mean nothing.
The presents were all scrap.
The flowers naught but weeds.
My heart is as a pest.

The poems are meaningless words.
I threw into the wind.
My tears they are but acid.
That burn upon my skin.

I did try hard to save you,
From that loser using you,
Even after you read,
What he would do to you.

To him this is a game,
You play along with him,
Not knowing that for now,
You're mearly a play thing.

I guess thats what i was,
Something to pass the time,
Someone to be blamed for,
Everything that isint right.

You'll never know my dear,
Just what i feel for you,
Just what id really sacrifice,
To have a soul like you.

One thing now is certain,
You do not give a damn,
But with my dying breath,
I'll make him pay instead!

*God it doesn't get easier does it :( *

I think things get better, its just a matter of letting go and focusing on ourselves first. But when it comes to love, I know the heart heals when its ready. I guess its just takes time. I know I loved someone for nine years so its hard to just stop loving them in a few months. I guess thats the price we pay for loving someone so much! Another great poem!!! 5/5

It never does get easier, thats life m'dear.
The only thing that changes is different problems, different challenges that replace the last ones.
The trick is to hold your head high and don't let the b***ards get you down.
    Kudos to this hun
