A Smile

A smile can mean so many things
it can be an answer
or a feeling, maybe even a sign
but it can also be a cover

To cover what you truly feel
to lock away your heart and soul
so that no one may hurt you
and make your heart bleed

a smile can mean a thousand words
a to z, a page long letter
conveying messages left to be uncoded
at the end, a reply is expected, but not all expectations are met

you long to speak, to turn the smile upset down
but what will society allow
do you really want to fall behind all the other miserables
become another mighty heap, dwelling in self pity

keep going, keep your smile
deal with your problems, and stay forever happy
life should be welcomed, please dont become another waste
