Sea Mist

by KT Mackey   May 11, 2007

A sea mist sprays the ocean cove,
The night wind howls against the rocks
The sloppy sand against my toes;
Against the ocean the city holds no light.

The night wind howls against the rocks
Cool breeze brings in salty smells
Against the ocean the city holds no light
The moon ripples on the surface of the water.

Cool breeze brings in salty smells
The seagulls are calling in their search for food
The moon ripples on the surface of the water,
A silver sheen is lain upon the sea.

The seagulls are calling in their search for food,
Crabs are scuttling two and fro;
A silver sheen is lain upon the sea,
And a sea mist sprays the ocean cove.

Please tell me what you think, I was just trying out some new form from a class I took. Thanks for reading!
