A Chest and Imagination

by Kalgalath   May 11, 2007

A chest is something for all ages
For adults, it is something to store relics to be remembered
To children, a chest is something of magnificence
Something that eats at their curiosity
It appears to them that there could be something of great value
Like a forgotten treasure
But adults know that it is usually something to store memories
Nothing as spectacular as a forgotten treasure
Maybe that's what we should all think of a chest;
A forgotten treasure

Perhaps when we see a chest and do not know what is in it,
We should just believe that there is a forgotten treasure,
Just for the joy it can create in our minds

Much like our lives
Conceivably, we should just accept things as they are,
And try not to figure out every little detail
That is what makes life boring
Knowing too much of something so there is no more imagination
Imagination is what keeps this world going
Leads people to create small yet significant things so we don't forget what life is about
