Cold Heart

by XSugarSexSuicideX   May 11, 2007

I look around the classroom,
The music pumping into my head,
As I look at everyone from the outside,
My cold heart kicks in,
The music plays louder,
The ice starts to burn,
I look, and stare, and glare,
Me with an icy stare,
Them burning,
Burning.

Suddenly,
He walks up behind me,
The heavy metal softens
And smoothes to a gentle waltz,
As he asks me what's wrong,
I can't meet his eyes,
But my cold heart melts
As I gaze up,
The burning cools,
And heals,
As his blue eyes soften
The flame in mine,
Me with a smile,
Them cooling,
Him loving,
Loving.

No longer does my heart
Freeze every time I'm there,
It melts, melts
When I look into his eyes.
