Summer's Night

by Courtney   May 12, 2007

Sitting under
The shining, silvery stars,
A calm, cool breeze
Blows through the quiet night.
A nearby river
Trickles by the trees.
A frog croaks
In the distant darkness.
And here I am,
In this silent serenity,
Enjoying the ethereal beauty,
Of a warm summer's night.
