That Certain Feeling

At some point in your life
You will fall in love so deep,
That it will effect your every action
Disturb your soul, and how you sleep.

You get with certain people
A certain kind of feeling inside,
And you know they are the one
Your heart cannot deny....

You meet them and you know
Know you are going to fall,
No matter how high your defences
It wont be stopped at all.

But then something happens
They pull away from you and go,
Rejecting you and your love
For reasons you will never know.

And you curse yourself and your actions
Wishing you had not melted to their touch,
As you sit alone and feel the emptiness
You miss them just so much.

Perhaps they never felt it.
That feeling that burns like a fire,
Perhaps you were not the one,
And someone else was there hearts desire.
