When I lost you

by haunted   May 14, 2007

Losing you was a hard thing for me to accept,
and as I watched you walk away,
Tears trickled down my cheek.
I stared at you, but you did not turn back.
Where is our share of love?
Where has it gone? It fell apart, that's what it is.

I walk down the road of a street,
And I see you there, sitting down with my friend,
Laughing and touching each other.
Hot tears form inside my dark eyes,
But I hide them, because I want to prove to you
That I can live without you.

It has been more than 10 times since I saw the same thing,
And now, I cannot take it anymore! I can't pretend! I can't lie!
I love you! And from the day you slipped away from me, I found that life just wouldn't be the same!
Come back to me! Please! I need you!
Our love means everything to me!
You are foolish! I was standing right before you,
But you pretended I didn't exist, until the day light brought us together.
Believe me when I say this ;
Your heart is blind, so full of murkiness.
I wish I could say I hate you, but I know I'll regret it.
It is because I love you so much that I want to say that I hate you.
Our love is lost, but I know it will rekindle.
Someday, somehow.
Even if our souls are a huge distance away,
I will remember you in my heart. But will you remember me?

*I didn't write this because I wanted to, it's because of how I felt about someone I love. He left me, for one of my best friends, and the pain makes me cry. But instead of tears, I decided to write a poem instead.*
