Down the hall

by Jessica   May 14, 2007

Watching you walk down the hall,
Seeing you with her.
Wishing it was me,
Instead of that ugly chick.
Wanting to be with you,
Is totally obsessing my thoughts.
She's way too much of a drama case,
For me to handle right now.
I wish I could be with you,
But I'm not pretty enough for you.
You're slowly getting closer to me,
She's going to her class crying.
I wish you would leave that stupid chick,
Your twenty feet away from me now.
My body starts to shake with fear.
I've never had this feeling before,
I think I'm in love.
You say I don't know what love really is.
Let me tell you something,
It's the best thing in the world.
It's like a feeling of accomplishment.
Someone finally loves you.
You feel that that's why you were put on this earth.
To be loved by someone other than family.
You approach me and take hold of my hand,
The next thing I know we're together at last.
DING, DING, DING,
Darn it was all a dream.
I see you walking down the hall.
I go to class crying,
Knowing it will never come true.
Still I can't stop trying
To make it all come true,
Some day very soon.
