My granddad
Laid in hospital without me there,
Laid dying, but always knew I cared,
Had cancer and they said I had to let go.

Loved me, but I loved him more that he may never know,
He was always by my side,
Had always been the one I would go to when I needed to hide.
My granddad
Is the best man that I will ever know!
He knew that I was when it was time for him to go,
My granddad has grandchildren that love him so much,
He will be remembered by all of us when we are grown.

Was young to leave this earth
He sat their wondering WHY ME and HOW
He had always been my best friend.
My granddad
Knew that I would be with him until the very end,
His now gone to heaven and to rid off all his pain
Knowing that God will show him, all that he has gained.
My granddad
Struggled with his disease and took it day by day,
He wouldnt let go until he knew it was time.
He now has a whole new life right above the sun.
My granddad
Said goodbye to his little girl
Closed his eyes and said goodbye to the world
He will always and forever have special place in my heart
The bedside was where I had to say goodbye
My granddad
Had to see me go and look me in the eye,
Although his frown was always hidden by a smile
I love my granddad.
Ill always be his little girl.
I always know that you are near
I miss you granddad with all of my heart.
Dont worry, Iam fine and the family is too
And its because of you that Iam a stronger person now.
I love you granddad and I think of you everyday.
