Not Another Sad Goodbye

Left for dead
On sixth avenue
My last words
Were "I love you."

Now time is flying
The pain doesn't end
Waiting for a chance
To live once again

What happened to heaven?
I thought God was real
Don't judge me
You don't feel the things I feel

Constantly confused
On what is actually true
Did you mean what you said
When you said "I love you too"

Can't force my eyes open
They seem to be sewn shut
I wish this was a movie
So I could scream "Cut!"

This is real life
I hate the thought
Happy and secluded
Is what I am not

Demons torment my soul
Picking at my heart
Piece by piece
Then rip me apart

This is goodbye
I don't see me coming back
So give me a soft gentle wave
As I forever fall into black

    `I love that & I can totally relate . When I got torn apart, this was exactly how I felt . You jsut put it into words what I couldn`t explain (:

    I think you did a nice job with this , `tho I find the last stanza kind of rocky . But still, well done .

    I don't know why I chose to read this but I'm so glad I did. These are my exact feelings currently and they shouldn't be. It's because of insecurities. So I give this a 5/5 for relatability. Good job.
