Broken Hearted

He flirted with her and soon enough they started talking. He told her she was beautiful, the cutest girl he ever met, little did he know that she liked him too.

She felt so special, felt like he was the one.
There they are on a Monday night
starring into each other's eyes.
He holds her hand and holds her face while he
gives her the softest and sweetest kiss.
He thought of ways to tell her and what he would say.
Finally Friday night came and he asked her to be his girlfriend, she was so nervous, nodded her head and said "yes!"

They were so happy together
Made her feel they would last forever.
Hours spent on the phone
Talking about how much they cared for one another,
Now days go by and he starts to change.
Tears slowly drop from her eyes, knowing things aren't the same. When she thinks of him she falls apart
knowing that he broke her heart.

Now she looks out her window while he is still running through her mind, trying to let him go without letting it show. She can't believe he hasn't called, not even to say it's over!

Too many tears going down her face, just trying to erase every memory of him. It was all just a lie, he never even said goodbye.

She calls her best friend and says "This pain inside isn't easy to describe, I need to pour my heart out because I can't take it anymore. There's not one day that I don't think about him, I know girl I have to let him go, but it's hard to do so. I'm trying to forget him, be like, yeah, whatever.

The phone rings, it's him. He says I'm sorry I fell in love with someone else. Leaves her heart broken and confused. She speaks and says, I thought we would be forever, all the time we spent together makes it harder to forget, I just can't resignate to not seeing you again.
You don't know the damage you did to me you just don't understand, I'm to emotionally involved.
My girls telling me to let you go, I've been trying but it's so hard when all I got is you on my mind.
I guess everything you said were lies, left me all alone. Now this is goodbye, I hope your happy in everything you do and always now that "I love you!"
