Left is Left but Right is Wrong

You gave me confidence,
let me go through betrayal
I can't come to the right reasons,
why did our love ever fail.
I did everything right for you.
I gave you all I can.
But there was more to you.
Things I couldn't understand.
Things you never told me.
And you never let me know.
You always told me nothing,
therefore our love didn't grow.
But why do I always,
place the blame on myself.
You hurt me and cheated on me.
You left me for someone else.
We went our separate ways.
You took the left I took the right.
Left one another,
In the darkness of the night.
But maybe one day,
the thought might finally cross your mind.
I might have been the greatest guy,
that you can ever find.
But once this happens,
you'll be wrong.
'Cause you took the left and I took the right.
And I'm already gone.

    Overall nice job. At times the rhyme scheme felt a little forced and it didn't flow as well as it could have. But other than that it was pretty good.
