Sister you left behind

I sit here and think about all our times together
and i think "how could you let them slip away?"
we used to be so close
and now we're so far
i dont know what to do
you used to always help me through
you always did what you had to
to make sure i was safe
but no it seems like i dont matter
i call and you say "sorry i cant"
or you tell me "sorry im in bellwood"
there are times i think to myself
"just give up, you'll never be good enough again"
it kills me to think these things
a part of me says "thats not true"
but another part says "she's found a new sister"
i hate to think about you and her together
she tore us apart
her name shelby fisher
i dont like to think it, but i knoew its true
tha shes your perfect little sister
the one you've always wanted
i've often wondered if you want me to change
to be just like her
maybe then you would pay attention to me
but then i see
you wouldnt love me for me
so i'll just sit here on my bed
and listen to your soce
and think about how im the sister
