I met you one fine day in school.
I was shy, you were cool.
I still remember that you said,
"I hope we'll always be friends"

We were still friends, until that day,
When I found out that you loved a
Girl that happened to be in love with me,
I'm sorry friend, I love her, too.

You wouldn't give up, you wouldn't give in,

But however hard you tried and tried,
The more and more she hoped that you would stop.

She tried to get you to understand,
