Behind the smile,
Is a land of hurt,
A story never told,
A side no one sees.

She smiles all the time,
To hide the pain, without it,
They would see the hurt,
And they would hear her story.

Her smile is beautiful,
Its always bright, but...
Behind it is a dark place,
The side never seen.

She hurt so much inside,
But you never saw it,
Until the day she could smile no more,
