Life Goes On

The soft tapping on my window panes
Allow me to realize what's real
Taught me how to figure out
Everything that's fake

But it just gets harder and harder
With every passing day
When everything starts becoming real
The thoughts suddenly scare you

But you know in your heart
That it'll end up okay
You'll overcome it all
It's just a known fact

In case we fail to overcome
We'll know we gave it a shot
But like most things
We didn't try hard enough
