Blinded by her self-infliction
I can't help it it's her addiction
Some people may be addicted to heroine, crack, or cocaine.
I'm not but my sister might be
i know she does it cause it makes her feel good
but she doesn't think about the people that care about her
she doesn't think about her little sister, that loves her so much
shes been in and out of jail
it hurts me but i know she does it to make her feel good
shes back in jail now...
shes only 22 years old, she doesn't think before she acts
when i was little i wanted to follow in her foot steps
but now i know i shouldn't, i cant, i cant hurt my mom too
it hurts her too much already. i cant follow in her foot steps
but i will follow in someone Else's.
she needs to understand that theres people who care about her
if she didn't make the choices she did
i just might have followed in her foot steps but until then i cant...
It's her addiction, her burden, her curse,
To find relief in something that hurts.
To take the pain, if just for a while,
Just for a bit, to make her smile
Blinded by her self-infliction....
