What exactly is a love poem??

A poem the tells how i feel?

Emotions, withheld words...

To be shunned and rejected

My biggest fear??

I want to go on walks,

Have late night sleepy talks.

Hug you tight.

Kiss you goodnite

Gaze into your startling blue eyes...

Have you wipe away the tears that i cry.

Is that how the whole love poem works??
