My fantasy

by brogan   May 23, 2007

An abundance of colours danced through the heavens,
Fiery dots bounced in every direction.

Gentle chants filled the midnight sky,
Sending me to sleep like a lullaby.

In my dreams I see you clear,
Your face perfect, I can’t help but stare.

You gently reached to me,
Drawing me into your unspoilt world.

We dance till our feet are blistered,
We sing till our throats are raw.

Everything stays the same,
The world around us is motionless.

I wake from my dream and the illusion is shattered,
But then I see you and my fantasy becomes reality.

You are my fairy,
My grandma.
