Missing Our Love

Theres not a song on the radio
that doesn't remind me of you.
They all say something about
what we once had.
And all i want is to get that back.
I want the smile on my face to be real
instead of fake.
I want you to listen to our song
and tell me that you don't think about me.
I want you to realize that you still love me
even after what happened.
Everyone makes mistakes but mine
was the biggest mistake of all.
You should know that i didn't mean it.
You should know that my feelings for you
are real.
I just want that night to never have happened.
I never meant to hurt you the way that i did.
If you choose not to forgive me then
i guess thats your choice.
I just hope you can find a place in your
heart that still wants what we once had back.

    Woow. It's so full of raw emotion and sadness. i'm sorry for your ordeal and hope that everything gets better for you. and try not to linger on the past too much. It tends to ruin your life, trust me. Keep on writing.
