Grateful friend

It was so beautiful to be with you
Even we were just friend

Everyday we shared jokes
Everyday we laughed

No pain, no cry
Because we were just friend

Then you got some new friends
You spent more time with them

Everyday you shared jokes with them
Everyday you laughed with them

You forgot me gradually
No more jokes, no more laugh

What could I do to fix it
You seemed happy

I think we were friend,
friend who always there
when you need something
But you never asked me anything

Now, You totally forget me
You don't talk to me anymore
and so do I
I even couldn't say happy birthday to you

You are to far away from me now
I miss your jokes
I miss your laugh
I think you will never understand

But I just want to say
Thank God we were friend

    Interesting poem... I don't like the way you wrote this piece. It is good but it isn't great like rest of your poems. I think that this poem deserves 4/5

    This is beautiful...
    The pain and emotion scream through the words in this, and there is so much depth.
    I liked the ending, to me it showed that even though you miss them, you are still graeful for what you had, and you haven't let that be contaminated by resentment and hate.
